Born to a working-class family, Mike Wheeler learned early the value of hard work and perseverance. After earning his degree in Accountancy from The George Washington University and an MBA from the University of Michigan, he launched a successful career in global finance, rising to senior leadership roles at major firms like J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, and Morgan Stanley. His experience guiding companies through the Great Recession and the European debt crisis taught him the importance of fiscal responsibility and sound economic policy.

In 2019, Wheeler and his family returned to the Texas Hill Country, where he quickly became a trusted conservative leader, serving as a precinct chair, County GOP Chair, and now as a member of the State Republican Executive Committee. In 2024, he was honored with a Presidential appointment as Senior Advisor to the Small Business Administration, where he works to reshore manufacturing, strengthen America’s industrial base, and create good-paying jobs.

Wheeler is committed to securing our border, cutting wasteful spending, and protecting Texas values from Washington’s overreach and radical green policies.
